How far along:
19 Weeks 5 Days
Symptoms:
Last weekend was something else, I ended up losing my voice, and had vomit induced coughing. So I had to be seen by my doctor and was put on antibiotics, and cough medicine. Not ideal when you are pregnant but it really made me feel better within a couple days. Other than having the cold, I have had a lot of cramping, from round ligament stretching. It’s fairly normal to have round ligament pain, if it is not accompanied by bleeding, fluid leaking, and pain. Lastly, I have been super tired this week, where is this energy they speak of in the 2nd trimester?!
Cravings:
No cravings, I have no appetite this week.
Movement:
I feel a little on the sides of the belly and the bottom, but nothing in the middle of the belly with the anterior placenta. I just started feeling the movement much more often starting Wednesday.
Exercise:
Still going strong but I’m a little slower this week, having to walk a little with my running and modify some moves with my workouts. I just started wearing a pregnancy support belt, picture below, yesterday. I thought I had a strong core but this baby is feeling lower and pushing on my bladder and having some major soreness in my stomach after the workouts. So I finally figured out how to wear this while I work out yesterday and I will say it did help me NOT pee my pants while running. Winner! I got this from the Motherhood Store, if I wasn’t in such a hurry to buy it I would have purchased a black one, this is hard to hide…
My workout regimen during the 19th week, has looked like this:
SU-Rest day
M-Full body strength training workouts (my online training program workouts)
T- 40 minutes run on the treadmill, 20 minutes on the elliptical
W- Full body strength training workout (again, my online training workouts)
Th- 10 minute warm up on the elliptical and ran 50 minutes on treadmill
F- Full body strength training workout (again, my online training workouts)
SA-Planning on a walk/run 4-6 miles (depending on how I feel)
SU-Rest day
Sleep:
Sleep has been getting better this week.
Belly Bump:
I’m showing a bump, it is starting to fill out a little. I had to measure my waist again to see if I gained inches in the belly because I felt bigger but it wasn’t different. I’m on the same inches gained as I did with Adrianna, it has been pretty comparable week to week.
Weight gain:
I have gained another pound and so all together I have gained 8lbs.
Food aversions
Food aversion went away but again I don’t really have an appetite this week.
Miss anything?
Just having the energy like I used to.
Excited for anything?
For our 20 week ultrasound in a few days! And to finally feel the harder jabs and kicks from the baby, which will most likely be 22-25 weeks to really feel the baby’s kick with this anterior placenta but until then I will be waiting!
