How far along:
32 Weeks 5 Days
Symptoms:
I had the stomach flu since Sunday night, it really didn’t hit till Wednesday early morning but started getting the body aches and nausea Sunday night. So today is the first day of not eating just apple sauce, thank goodness! Baby has been fine, she is moving like crazy. Actually more than usual, but I’m sure it’s because I have had to relax more this week.
My rib pain has started to settle down a bit, but I think they are shifting from another growth spurt. She is defiantly stretching her little legs out, I can feel them always in my right rib.
Not much else happened since I had to really try to recover well enough for my baby.
Cravings:
The only cravings I got this week was for water. Trying to avoid being dehydrated from Wednesday’s episodes. I’m just thankful, I feel better today. That was super rough!
Movement:
Like I said above, she is much more active this week. Giving me some big moves. She has moved to head down! So I hope she stays that way, she could still move around if she wanted to. It is just a little tighter in there. She is now laying on my left side of my stomach and her feet her wrapped around to my right ribs…which is why I always feel something pushing on up there when I eat.
Exercise:
Exercise this week was a struggle, I made a few days of light weight training. Not much cardio since that really made me exhausted to even do and made me more nauseous.
My workout regimen during the 32nd week, has looked like this:
SU-Rest day.
M- Full body strength training workout, modified for my pregnancy and light training.
T- 50 minutes elliptical
W- Sick, so no workout
Th-Full body strength training workout, modified for pregnancy and light training for being weaker.
F-15 minutes elliptical + 45 minutes of leg workouts
SA-Planning on a 10 minute elliptical + 45 minute upper body workout.
Sleep:
Between my daughter with her monsters in her eye balls, my cat, Maverick thinks she needs us to wake up at 4am and then my body moving like a whale in bed and feeling crummy, let’s just say that sleep has been a little touch and go this week.
Belly Bump:
My belly stayed the same but it does look different. Since she is now head down, my belly looks longer. Having a baby is crazy weird on the body but so cool at the same time. The belly button is starting to push out, I think I might end up with an outie this time around. I really don’t like the belly button (I think I brought that up last time), but my belly is starting to look like a huge boob, with a bonus dark line.
Weight gain:
I didn’t gain any weight, which is the first since the 1st trimester. So all together I have gained 17.5lbs. I would be surprise if I gained much this week since I was limited on food.
Stretch Marks:
None yet.
Food aversions:
I had many this week because of the GI bug. But none with the pregnancy.
Doctor Visit:
Had my 32 week doctor visit, and ultrasound. It was so fun to see her this time since we got a few chances to see her in 3D. She is doing great on weight, she is 4lbs. 4oz. and she has the perfect amount of amniotic fluid (which was a problem with Adrianna), she is practicing breathing, and all her organs looked great, she is head down and last but not least she already has hair. This is her new picture, I guess she like to cozy up by the placenta. So we only got to see half her face, but what we saw was adorable!
Miss anything?
I miss a lot but I’m almost there, so I can’t really complain too much.
Excited for anything?
Finishing up the baby room, and getting the remaining to-do list done before baby is here. Tomorrow is a freezer meal/slow cooker meal day with my soon-to-be sister-in-law, so that will hopefully give me the 1st month of meals for our family. That is one thing I did not do last time around and really never had time to make food for the first month because we were SO tired and ate horribly after she was born. My goal is to fuel with balanced meals, so I feel good and have enough energy to get through the 1st month.
