My kid loves ice cream–just like every other kid and adult. I knew it was important to me to make something that had the nutrition she needs and the flavor she wants. This was a huge hit and she thinks this is ice-cream–so a win-win in my house.
Ingredients
Blueberry Ice-Cream:
1 container Chobani Greek Yogurt (I used blueberry, but it can also be whatever you like)
1/2 cup blueberries (or fruit of choice)
Another option for low sugar ice-cream:
1 container plain greek yogurt
1/2 cup fruit of choice
Preparation
Blueberry ice-cream:
Add blueberries to the yogurt, and stir till blueberries are coated with the yogurt.
Cover the bowl with tin foil and put in the fridge for 2 hours.
Leave out for 5 minutes to unthaw, and enjoy!
Low-sugar ice-cream:
If you are using a plain greek yogurt, add fruit and 1 packet of Stevia or 2 teaspoons of honey.
Blend well in a blender.
Cover the bowl with tin foil and put in the fridge for 2 hours.
Leave out for 5 minutes to unthaw, and enjoy!
