Hi Dayna… so maybe I missed it, but I see it says 4 bars are 96 cals. So how big is one bar? Like 2″ x 2″? Just guessing. Or like 1/4 of the pan is 96 cals.? And I know this info must be somewhere, but I haven’t seen it… the protein powder you can buy at like Walmart is prob not the best stuff right? How do you know what’s good? Thanks, love Auntie Mary
HI Mary! Yes, it is 1/4 of the pan, crazy huge! I buy the protein powder from Amazon and it is Life Basic Pea Protein, it is GMO free and free from additives. I only bake with this brand because it mimics flour the best. This is the link to see what it looks like and purchase. It is cheapest on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Protein-Isolate-Chocolate-LifeTime-Powder/dp/B003BHZB7G/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1393510567&sr=8-8&keywords=protein+powder+life+basic
Thank you so much!! I will check it out on amazon. So, if I didn’t use protein powder, I would just have to use more cocoa and flour? and how much is a scoop of the PP? Like 1/4 cup, or 1/3 cup??
Yes, you could use flour instead. The PP is 1/2 cup!
