Gluten-Free Onion Rings

These don’t look like the normal onion rings but if you make these, they taste the same with way less calories and fat. All I can say is that they are AMAZING!


1 medium onion
2 tablespoon almond four
1/2 cup egg whites
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
Non-stick frying pan
Choose: coconut oil or non-stick spray


In a shallow bowl, whisk--egg whites, garlic powder, ground pepper, and almond flour  ingredients together.
Separate onion slices into rings.
Dip rings into batter.
In a non-stick frying pan, either use coconut oil or a non-stick spray (I used spray). Fry onion rings in batches for 30 seconds to 1 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Always spray with non-stick spray with every new onion batter.
Serve immediately.
