This chili will give your mouth something to love, and you’ll be able to taste each the sweet and spice because this chili is something nice. You can have this for dinner, lunch or even it for leftovers enjoy! Makes 4 servings. Serving size: 1 1/2 cups.
Ingredients
15 oz. organic tomato sauce
1/2 cup diced green chilies
1 cup fresh spinach
2 cups chopped sweet potatoes
1 lbs. extra lean ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped sweet onions (1 medium)
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon cumin
3 diced garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Preparation
In a large skillet, brown turkey over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks into smaller pieces.
When meat is browned and cooked through add the onions, spinach and chopped garlic.
Then cook 3 minutes over medium heat.
Add the can of tomato sauce, diced chilies, sweet potato, chicken broth, water, cumin, chili powder, and paprika.
Cover and simmer over medium-low heat until potatoes are soft and cooked through, about 25 minutes stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and serve.
