Mint Mocha Protein Drink

Enjoy this minty, chocolate, coffee treat…in the comfort of you own home. This simple version of this yummy drink can  be be served hot or cold! Serves 1.


1 cup unsweetened almond milk+ 1 serving vanilla protein powder
1 cup strong brewed coffee or decaf
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
2 packages Stevia
⅛ teaspoon peppermint extract
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
Optional: crush a peppermint candy, and whipped topping to the top. (Just note this is not calculated in the nutritional information). 


1. Brew coffee—stronger if you want (just add less water).
2. In a small pot/blender, add the unsweetened almond milk + 1 serving protein powder, cocoa, Stevia and peppermint extract.
3. Over medium high heat, mix until cocoa is dissolved and mixture is hot.
4. Transfer to a blender and process for about 15 seconds with your brewed coffee until foamy. If you don’t have a blender, just whisk the mixture in the pot continuously with a wire whisk until foamy.
5. Top with crushed peppermint, if desired.
