This is the perfect idea for those last of the season tomatoes. This is not really a recipe, but more of a technique that I use for making this wonderful Oven Roasted Tomato Sauce. This is a very simple technique that is subject to endless variation to your taste. This outstanding sauce can be used to top your pasta dishes, pizza topping, lasagna, tomato soup, or whatever else you can think of. Be creative in making and using this tomato sauce.

1 can of Oragnic Canned Tomato Sauce or 5 fresh tomoatos

1 Tbls. Onion powder
2 Cloves of garlic
1/2 cup spiniach
1 tsp. salt for taste

If you are using fresh tomatoes, wash tomatoes and cut out the stem core. Slice the tomatoes in half lengthwise and then quarter. Place all ingredients in a blender  till creamy. Than place prepared tomatoes, garlic cloves and herbs in a pan. Put on the stove for 15 minutes on warm till hot enough to your liking. Make sure to be stir every 5 minutes.
