It may seem weird to eat quinoa in the morning but it actually makes a great breakfast. This filling protein and gluten free breakfast that will keep you feeling full for hours. It is topped with your healthy fats, walnuts. This meal serves 1….you may need more since you will want it again! Enjoy!
Ingredients
1/3 cup ooked quinoa
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 Tbsp. chocolate PB2
1/2 tbsp. crushed walnuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
1. Combine all ingredients together (except the crushed walnuts) in a glass baking dish or bowl.
2. Cover the bowl or dish and microwave (90 seconds) or bake (2-minutes).
3. Top the quinoa creamy protein with the crushed walnuts and enjoy warm!
