My hubby loves pizza, so I wanted to make it a little more healthier and fun for the family so I thought up this recipe. Enjoy!
1/2 lbs. Extra lean ground turkey
1 cup Spinach
1 cup egg whites
1 small jar of an organic pizza sauce
1/4 Low fat Cheddar cheese or rice vegan cheese
1/2 cup Almond flour
1/4 cup can of black olives
Optional: 1/4 cup of extra lean turkey pepperoni
Brown the extra lean ground turkey.
Add in the egg whites, pizza sauce, almond flour, cooked extra lean ground turkey, black olives and if you choose pepperoni in a mixing bowl.
Shred the spinach in a blender and add to the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.
Spray a muffin pan or 8X8 baking dish with a non-stick spray and spoon out the mixture evenly.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
