Ingredients
1 cup mild salsa
2 cups diced tomatoes
2 cups tomato sauce
1 lbs. extra lean ground turkey, lean beef, or venison
1 small chopped onion (1/2 cup)
1 chopped garlic clove
2 1/2 cup frozen or fresh green beans
2 cups spinach
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 bay leaf
1 small chopped zucchini
Preparation
1. Brown the turkey or meat of choice.
2. Chop garlic clove, onion, zucchini place it in the slow cooker.
3. Add the turkey, salsa, tomato sauce, spinach, green beans, chicken broth, and bay leaf.
4. Cover the cooker, and cook on low setting for 4 to 6 hours or high setting for 2 to 3 hours.
Serve in bowls and enjoy!
