My mother would never see the day that I would make meatloaf but much less eat it. Well, I discovered some reasons I did not care for it and I took those ingredients outs. Making the way that I did, made it so much healthier too.
1/2 cup egg whites
1 lbs. extra lean ground turkey
2 cloves of garlic
1 can of organic tomato paste
1/4 cup green onions
1 cup spinach
1 cup broccoli
1 teaspoon of ground pepper
1/4 cup almond flour
Chop Spinach, broccoli and garlic in a blender.
Mix the ground turkey, chopped green onions and the broccoli mixture together till mixture is blender well.
Spray a non-stick spray on either small individual mini-loaf pans or into a large loaf pan.
Pour mixture into the pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until the turkey is done.
Let cool for 3-5 minutes and pair it with your favorite vegetable.
