This recipe can be any flavor you want, and healthy toppings are endless. I made this with vanilla protein powder and topped it with a sprinkle of crushed pecans for my healthy fat. If you are a lover of Artic Zero Ice Cream, this is a replacement–bonus, so much cheaper!
Ingredients
1 Scoop vanilla protein-(that is what I used, make sure you are using a low sugar protein powder)
6 unsweetened almond/coconut milk ice cubes (this is what makes it thick)
1 cup unsweetened almond/coconut milk
2 packets of Stevia
Optional: cinnamon, pumpkin spice, nuts, fresh fruit, raw cocoa (no sugar).
Preparation
First, fill an ice tray with an unsweetened milk (I used almond milk), put in in the freezer and let it freeze for a couple hours.
Add protein powder, ice cubes, unsweetened almond/coconut milk, and Stevia.
Blend well, you may need to stir it around to break up the ice cubes.
Pour in a bowl, eat immediately!
Add, your toppings or enjoy as is!
*Make sure to get creative, mix different flavors of protein powders, different spices.
