Today is one of those bittersweet days, one that can make you tear up any moment to laughing out loud from the silly memories. Seven years ago today, I had lost one of my favorite people—my grandfather. He was a goofy, supportive, helpful, social, and happy to be alive person. I had learned so much from him, such as living each day to its fullest, have fun with life, age is just a number, and you can be whoever you want to be. I believe that I have a constant guardian angel that is always by my side and the seven years seem like just yesterday.
Today, I was listening to my music on my iPad and all of a sudden one of my grandpas’ favorite songs came on —Johnny Cash Ring of Fire. So ended up on YouTube and found this one from the Grand Ole Opry–I had to add this one because as a memory whenever we were at my grandparents’ house this show was always on. Oh the memories…I love that music can help you grieve, remember those precious memories–happy or sad. What would I ever do without music?! This one is for you Grandpa…
