When it comes to making dinner, I LOVE to use my crockpot. Working sometime later makes making dinner hard when my kids want to eat the second they get home. So nice to know that dinner is ready to go and I don’t have to spend precious time in the kitchen during those busy days. This recipe has a great taste that makes my entire family wanting more. This recipe is perfect for feeding a family of four and we always have leftovers when I make this crock pot Hawaiian chicken, so if you have a larger family it would work well–too. Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients
4 (3-5 oz.) chicken breasts
1 cup BBQ Sauce (I use Annie’s Brand)
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
3 garlic cloves minced
1 tsp. ground pepper
Preparation
Place everything in the crockpot.
Cook in crock pot on LOW for 6-8 hours.
That is it, super easy! Enjoy!
Dayna’s Tip: Make sure to use frozen no added sugar or fresh pineapple to ensure you’re not adding more sugar to this meal. Add 1/2 rice of choice to make your meal! If you follow my meal guidance, this would be considered a 1:1 meal.
