Do you ever say “I just don’t have time to______________.” Why is that? Is it because you don’t want to do it, or you TRULY don’t have the time? I have about a million things going on, but I have wanted to start up an old hobby, but I have been putting it off because I just “DON’T HAVE THE TIME.” Guess what? I need to make the time to do it, and I will.
My hobby was playing piano. I have a piano in my house as a gift from my parents, but it has been collecting dust for over a year, so last week I finally purchased new sheet music to get my motivation going– Purple Rain from Prince. HOLLA! It is going to be hard I know already, and uncomfortable because I only like to play by ear but I know I will NEED this sheet music to play this song. I realized if I set aside even 10 minutes a day I can start this new journey without stress and when it becomes easy for me I will continue to play longer and play better.

This is just another analogy of what people do when they start off their “new hobby” of fitness. Even if you only have 10 minutes to workout you will get somewhere with your fitness and health journey, it may be hard and uncomfortable, but you have to start to somewhere. Remember, I started at the beginning and know things become much easier and more fun. You can do this.
