How far along:
27 Weeks 5 Days
Symptoms:
Braxton hicks were in full force and barely gave me much breaks. But the nurse said it was ok, I just need to relax more, and stress less. I have my 28 week appointment early next week, so I will make sure things are okay. I think the 3rd trimester tiredness can back, super tired around 4pm. I’m still nauseous at times, but not terrible. I have been much hungrier this week, so I have to keep myself in check so I don’t gain that 3 pounder like I did a few weeks back. Other than that, things are good. She is growing and still moving around.
Cravings:
I craving grapefruit, and salads, pumpkin flavored foods, cereal, and whatever is in my face. Lol! I’m still making my pumpkin pie protein bars and munching on those as a snack, so I don’t fall into any cravings.
Movement:
She is moving around, but not as much as last week. She is much different than Adrianna, Adrianna was very active and had so many hiccups. This one I haven’t felt one hiccup, yet.
Exercise:
Exercise is getting harder, and I really miss the hard workouts. Can’t wait till the 1st of the year to get some good workouts in. I did run 10 minutes this week, I had too many Braxton hicks I didn’t want to start anything more serious. This week was a little harder since of the Braxton hicks, I just need to scale down the workouts a little more.
My workout regimen during the 26th week, has looked like this:
SU-Filmed the last part of my pregnancy workout series. So that was around 3 hours filming exercises.
M-Full body strength training workouts (my online training program workouts)
T- 10 minutes jog on the treadmill, and 45 minutes on elliptical.
W- Full body strength training workout (again, my online training workouts)
Th-55 minutes of elliptical (I really hate the elliptical…)
F- Full body strength training workouts (my online training program workouts)
SA-We are traveling to Duluth for a day trip on Saturday and going to Jay Cooke State Park to go hiking. I’m excited to go again since it was a very long time I was there and also to bring Miss A along.
Sleep:
I feel like I have to take a 12-point turn to just roll over at night. Sometimes, I will think about the amount of energy it takes to move and I just give up and stay where I’m at…But then laying there thinking about moving, I have to go to the bathroom. That goes that, I have to move anyway.
Belly Bump:
My belly is growing, and the belly is definitely bigger. Still wearing my normal leggings but I have noticed that if my leggings are too tight I will get more Braxton hicks, so I ended up purchasing some leggings at Forever 21, yep, Forever 21. I bought 3 pairs of leggings for $12.00, I refuse to buy too many maternity clothes because I only have 12 weeks at the most. I will squeeze my rear end in the clothes, I will make this work!
Weight gain:
I have gained a little less than a pound, again this week. I feel like I may gain a little more next week, because of my hunger. But we’ll see! All together I have gained 16lbs.
Stretch Marks:
None so far. I have been using a coconut body butter after every shower and Vaseline (yes, Vaseline. I use it at night before bed) I used it when I was pregnant with Adrianna and had no stretch marks.
Food aversions:
None.
Miss anything?
First, I have to admit I hate having to pick stuff up off the floor, and the fact that I look like a contortionist every time I put on my socks and shoes. I still have 12 weeks left so I need to find some solutions.
Excited for anything?
To see my baby girl in a couple weeks in an ultrasound and to finish up some work on my programs to get things ready when I have my baby.
Finally, I have to give a friend a shout out that made my two daughters and myself these cute little scarves with the ears. They are so cute and warm, I can’t wait to use mine this winter!
