How far along:
33 Weeks 5 Days
Symptoms:
Since having the stomach flu since last week I really haven’t been feeling back to normal. Super nauseous and crampy, no appetite and super full after I eat anything.
I have been also experiencing some light bolt pain that is coming from the hip flexor/groin area. She has dropped a bit, since I can breathe a lot better and my stomach look lower. So the bladder is being tested and round ligament pain is coming around a lot more.
Things I have been doing to help alleviate the round ligament pain and help get the baby in the right direction are two things for this pregnancy. One, chiropractor, if you are in the Central MN Area, I see Dr. Sara Cuperus at Chiropractor Performance Center, she is someone I swear by for taking care of all my hip, rib and round ligament pain and also Molly Johnston, who performs Craniosacral, to help calm my round ligament pain, braxton hick contractions and help the me feel less tight in the stomach and hip area. I also, have been bringing my daughter in to both of these ladies, Adrianna has been seeing Dr. Sara Cuperus since birth because of her traumatic birth and also just recently to Molly, since she works on the Craniosacral therapy (she was vacuumed during birth and also had some hip issues from the birth that Molly has been able to help tremendously) If you want any info on these two wonderful ladies, message me. Here is Adrianna enjoying her therapy, she loves it!
Cravings:
I have no cravings, I’m just trying to eat enough good stuff for the baby all with my stomach issues. These last 2 weeks have defiantly tested me and my patience.
Movement:
She is much more active this week, but giving me big movements. I’m now feeling her legs on my right side. Most of her body is laying head down with most of her body on my left side. Same side that Adrianna also stay in.
Exercise:
Exercise this week was another struggle, I made a few days of light weight training. Not much cardio since that really made me exhausted to even do and made me more nauseous.
My workout regimen during the 33rd week, has looked like this:
SU-Rest day.
M- Full body strength training workout, modified for my pregnancy and light training.
T- 50 minutes elliptical
W- Full body strength training workout, modified for my pregnancy.
Th-10 minute stair climber, 20 minutes elliptical at the gym with 30 minutes leg routine
F-15 minutes elliptical + upper body workout.
SA-Planning on a 20 minute stair climber + 40 minute leg routine
Sleep:
Sleep is what I want all this week, SUPER tired! But can’t sleep well at night, Adrianna has been in our room sleeping most nights. Poor girl and her nightmares. Where do these nightmares come from when they are only 4 years old?
Belly Bump:
My belly stayed the same but just looks different. Since she is now head down, my belly looks longer. She is still small enough to keep moving around, so parts of the day she is up high and then parts of the day she is really low.
Weight gain:
I lost a pound this week, but I could tell since I haven’t been able to put down food like I used to. Super annoying, I love food. I hope this appetite comes back soon. I have gained 16.5lbs
Stretch Marks:
None yet.
Food aversions:
I had many this week because of the GI bug. But none with the pregnancy.
Doctor Visit:
No doctor visit this week.
Miss anything?
I miss a lot but I’m almost there, so I can’t really complain too much.
Excited for anything?
I’m excited to go on our hospital tour this weekend. When I delivered Adrianna, we had the old maternity ward, which had a brick wall to look out of when I was in labor for many hours during their construction. So this new maternity ward will be a total upgrade!
I’m also exited to finish up the last minute stuff for baby, and packing my hospital bag. I’m a little early on things but seriously, I have to do it when I have the energy to do so.
