These bars have a pop of orange flavor and a yummy texture thanks to the banana and no added flours aside from the protein powder. If you wanted a little snack or breakfast this is it! They are great on their own, with a yummy dollop of homemade orange frosting!
Ingredients
1 small mushed banana
2 scoops vanilla protein
½ cup almond flour
2/3 cup egg whites
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup water
¼ cup stevia
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoon orange extract
pinch of salt
Preparation
Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together, until lumps are out.
Pour into a 9 X 9 baking dish.
Bake for 22 minutes, if you want the bars firmer leave them in till 25 minutes but watch them.
Take out and let cool.
Store in the fridge.
Enjoy!
Optional: If you want a frosting on top add 1/2 scoop protein, 1/2 teaspoon orange extract, 1/8 cup + 1 tablespoon unsweetened almond milk, 1 packet of Stevia-mix well together and spread on top of your protein bar and store in the fridge for the remaining bars.
