I have been incorperating more HIIT programs in my workouts lately. I have to get in a swimsuit for a photo shoot in two weeks so I needed to get rid of some fat, and this is the best way to do it!
I have been having less time to workout so I want to get the most BANG out out my workouts, and I love the fact that when you do sprint intervals you burn fat but you don’t lose the muscle with doing to much cardio. So I’m going to let you know what I did today, I actually got to the point where I could have puked! So I new I did this workout right! So here it is:
Start with an incline of 8% and 3.5-4.0mph (I did 4.0) for 5 minutes
Do this round for 10 minutes, keep incline at 8%
*Run at 7.6 for 50 sec. (you want to push yourself out of your comfort zone, It should be hard)
*Walk at 3.8 for 1:10 min/sec
For 5 minutes bring down the incline to 3% run at 7.5
Return the incline up to 8 %
*Walk at 3.8 for 1:10 min/sec
*Run at 7.6 for 50 sec.
Cool down with 5 minutes, at 3.5 and incline at 2%
Make sure to consult a physician before using this cardio workout, and hydrate!!
