How far along:
39 Weeks 3 Days
Symptoms:
Just a lot of Braxton hicks, but totally normal for me. Bloating is not so much unless you include the belly! Lol!
Not sleeping well, having lots of anxiety with the thought of going from one baby to two. I feel like I will miss my time with Adrianna, but I know it will change when the new little lady will be here. Just weird emotions coming through this week.
My belly feels heavy, so I’m becoming more and more uncomfortable. But I don’t have too much time left, so I can deal.
Cravings:
No cravings this week, I have lost my appetite this week. I’m sure it’s because this baby is getting huge and I have limited amount of room to eat.
Movement:
She is moving like crazy town. Much more than her normal, but it’s all good!
Exercise:
The workouts are still going strong this week, I refuse to give into my thoughts of not wanting to do them. Lol! I feel like a whale doing them, but hey, I’m still doing it and the looks of people at the gym are priceless. I feel like they are expecting my waters to break.
My workout regimen during the 38th week, has looked like this:

SU-Rest day
M- Full body strength training workout, modified for my pregnancy.
T- 60 minutes elliptical trainer.
W- Full body strength training workout, modified for my pregnancy.
Th-30 minutes stair climber + 30 minutes shoulders and leg workout.
F-60 minutes elliptical trainer (or off depending on the day since it’s Christmas, I will do this on Sunday if I don’t have this child yet and if I do not do this on Friday).
SA- Full body strength training workout, modified for my pregnancy.
Sleep:
Sleep?? What is that? I will be questioning this for a few more years, if this one is like my first child!
Baby Bump:
My belly basically has stayed the same, but added another ½ inch. Very happy where I am at, I’m basically a little less than I was with Adrianna, the weight is a little more but I’m smaller this time around. I think it’s from lifting weights so much this time around.
Weight gain:
I didn’t gain anything this week. So in total I have gained 20lbs.
Stretch Marks:
None yet….thank goodness! If I get one in the next few days, I may hurt someone. I’m kidding…maybe…
Food aversions:
None.
Doctor Visit:
My 39th week appointment was on Tuesday and I finally am dilated to 2. Hey, I will take it, even though I’m having a scheduled C-section, I’m just happy my body is doing what it needs to do. But I want to make sure my baby knows not to come until AFTER Christmas.
Miss anything?
I’m struggling with shoes, pants, socks, underwear and all clothes for that matter. My belly is lower, so I feel like I get a little draft of cold air when I go outside. My coat is getting a little snug…
Excited for anything?
To meet this little girl in a less than a week, and give the present Adrianna has been asking for.

good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. You look great! Keep it up. I like how you journal everything, wished I did that with both of my sons, which are 25 and 23 years old.
