This was super delicious! I have been wanting chocolate cake for the last couple of days but knew I could make one that wouldn’t ruin my daily caloric intake with one sliver of a piece of regular chocolate cake. This one was SUPER moist and flavorful–like the real thing! This pan will make 8 servings.
Ingredients
2 scoops chocolate protein powder (I used Life Basic brand)
½ cup coconut flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon raw cocoa unsweetened powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
8 packets of Truvia
2/3 cup water
1/8 teaspoon salt (do not omit)
2 teaspoon of raspberry extract
¾ cup egg whites
Preparation
Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together, until smooth in texture.
Pour into a 9 X 9 baking dish.
Bake for 28 minutes, if you want the bars firmer leave them in till 30 minutes but watch them.
Take out and let cool.
Store in the fridge.
Optional: Add some berries on top.
Enjoy!

hi Dana, can stevia be used in place of truvia?
YES! You can certainly substitute with Truvia!
Hey Girl! Do I need to prep the pan with cooking spray or anything to keep the cake from sticking? I’m making these today 🙂
Yes, Brigid! I used a coconut non-stick spray.
