Yes, the good old fashion rice crispy bar got a little makeover! These contain less sugar, added protein and still has the great old fashion crunch–enjoy!
Makes 12 bars
Serving size: 1 bar
5 cups gluten-free crispy rice cereal (I used Erewhon - Organic Whole Grain Cereal Crispy Brown Rice No Salt Added )
1 cup vanilla protein powder (I used a pea protein)
1/2 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or FitPro ® Real Milk)
1/3 cup Stevia
1/2 tsp salt
1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until all cereal is coated, and everything is well combined.
2. Line a 9 x 13″ baking pan with parchment paper, and spread the mixture out into your pan.
3. Place in freezer for 3-4 hours or until harden and slice into 12 squares.
4. Place back into the freezer and remove a few minutes before eating.
