I was talking to my husband last night about my little ritual that I use every morning. My morning starts out like this: I start with a little snack, then my workout, shower (of course), coffee and then my ritual of gratitude and my intentions for the day, and then breakfast. I have to tell you, when I skip my daily routine with the intentions and gratitude…my day is OFF. I feel like I’m walking in quick sand and trying to run as fast as I can to get through it, but tend to just stall.
Today, was a day that I forgot to do my intention and gratitude because I have been having a hard time getting up in the morning, my child who let me remind you is 3 1/2 almost 4 is still not sleeping through the night, yep almost 4 years old…not sleeping through the night. I’m just going to put it out there, she just may not be a sleeper? So my day is cut a little short, and usually the first that goes is my intentions and gratitude and like I had said above, when I have days like this my day is like walking in quick sand.
So today my day has been quiet busy (like usual) with clients, meetings, and but finally I was able to take a moment for a quick break and I received this little message with my afternoon tea: An attitude of gratitude brings opportunities. It was a message loud and clear for me this afternoon with my tea. All I needed was to take some time to be thankful for the perfect opportunity to give thanks and set the intentions with my hot cup of tea. Now this is your opportunity to do the same!
