Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I want to give extra thanks to those of you that follow my blog, and my family and friends on Facebook. I really do mean it; it makes me want to do more for you and to keep writing. So thank you for keeping me motivated! That being said I want to bring up something that I have been doing for the last couple months that have helped me with a better attitude, keep me more motivated in life, and feel good about either good and bad situations. I have been using gratitude to help me realize I have a lot of things to be thankful for. I could write something every day of my life, because no matter if it is good or bad situation I learn something from it. Learning is power and growing and what is better than that? So even though the day of THANKS is here and will be gone tomorrow, make a promise to yourself that you will start your day and end your night with something that you are thankful for. Actually, right now…think of what you are thankful for…got it? Okay, now how did that make you feel? Warm and fuzzy? I think so!! It is the best feeling and wouldn’t it be a great way to end your night and to begin your mornings?
So one thing I have learned from doing this is the more grateful we are, the more good things that come, and the more good things we receive. Positive attitude with will bring positive situations more rapidly if you keep it up. The reason is simple: It is the mental attitude of gratitude that draws the mind closer to the source from which the blessings come.
