If you are trying to lose weight, you may have started with all the willpower and discipline needed to reach your goals… you were really strong for months on your workouts and have eaten healthy meals. But unfortunately the moment you drop your willpower and discipline, the weight comes back again.
This might happen because you have not dealt with the REAL issue. You have only worked on the outer appearance of yourself. The real issue with weight is usually an inner fear, which creates fat for protection. You can fight fat for protection all your life, but until you deal with real issue it will be a constant battle.
Some fears I have learned from my clients as a personal trainer, is the fear that they are not good enough to lose the weight. Meaning they have taken themselves out of the equation and have put more attention on others. Which isn’t completely bad, we all need help and the ability to be there for people. But without taking care of ourselves first, how can we completely take care of others? If we stay positive and know that we are ENOUGH and we deserve to take care of ourselves, then the weight can fall off and stay off.
Examine your life and ask yourself: What is your fear?
Many times the rules we have in place for ourselves keep us stuck in the same spot. We need to change how we keep our inner alignment and stop taking two steps forward and three steps back. When you have inner alignment and can progress forward to your goals, everything changes.
Almost everyone has that someone or something in our life that for some reason we wait for permission, and if we wait for permission it will slow down the process to fully live our dreams. Give yourself the permission this week to change your outcome and break down those walls, so you can move on.
