Cajun Shrimp Stew
2 lbs. of shrimp (shelled and deveined)
1 can or 1 1/2 cup kidney beans
2 whole tomatoes, chopped
2 cups onions, chopped
2 cups green bell pepper, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup water
2 cups organic (gluten free) chicken broth
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon of black pepper
Place all ingredients into a slow-cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Optional : Serve with brown rice or a fresh green salad!
